Artists committed to creating beautifully crafted finishes

We are Rebecca Tasker and Mike Long, owners of Simple Construct. We met in art school in England and have been working together, in one way or another, for over 25 years.

In 2003, we shifted our focus from visual art to construction. In 2010, we earned our General Contractors License and founded Simple Construct Naturally Healthy Homes, an award-winning Design-Build firm specializing in high-performance, natural homes.  

In 2023, we dedicated the company to fine plasters. Simple Construct Craft Plaster brings high-quality finishes into even more spaces in Southern California by focusing on custom craft plaster installation over drywall in both new and existing, residential and commercial spaces.
